I have had a ‘wall plug in’ calf massager since my first DVT about 7 years ago. I keep it under my desk at work, there are many days when I just don’t get the time to get up and move around. Last week, after years of service it broke, and I would have replaced it with the same equipment if the company had still been making them. These have the advantages of being much quieter and being portable. I ordered two of these from Verseo.com after looking at various products. I have been trying one out over the last couple of days and I think this will work well as a substitute. Two Comments: 1) Make sure you measure the calf of your leg to be sure it is under 20 inches, these just barely fit over my socks, and 2) There is a design issue, the engineer that put these together did not take into consideration that people that would use these might/should also have support hose, the ‘hook’ part of the velcro is on the inside and catches (and snags) the hose. The second one is a trade off, if it were the other way around it would catch on outer clothing if it was facing outward.

My doctor recommended this product for my arm. I needed to add some velcro strips to the loop (fuzzy) side but now it is an arm massager. Helps with my lymphedemia.

I have MS and sometimes my ankle will swell on my left leg. I tried this product out and it did the trick. By evening and after use I noticed the swelling had gone down. I now know that if the ankle swells, I can just wrap it up and let the massager do it's work.
